Supreme Court paves way for CBI probe into 2015 Jharkhand 'fake encounter', dismisses state's petition against it

Paving the way for a CBI investigation into an alleged fake encounter between Maoists and security forces in 2015 in which 12 innocent people were killed in Jharkhand, the Supreme Court Friday dismissed the state's appeal against an investigation by the central agency.
