China denies reports of President Xi Jinping visiting India before Lok Sabha elections, says meeting likely after new govt takes charge

Reacting to the report, which said that Xi Jinping hopes to meet Narendra Modi prior to the Lok Sabha elections, official sources in Beijing said that there is no such proposal for President Xi to visit India in the next two months after which India is poised for general elections.
