Sunil Arora set to take over as CEC on 2 December: New Election Commission chief will anchor 2019 Lok Sabha polls

A former bureaucrat, Sunil Arora was appointed as election commissioner on 31 August, 2017. He succeeds Om Prakash Rawat who retired on Saturday.
