As Rajya Sabha reconvened at 11 am today, Chairman Venkaiah Naidu got up from his chair as Congress' Anand Sharma raised objection to Amit Shah's speech on NRC draft. Naidu said, "That it is ironic that I have to give away the best parliamentarian award function today. I was so upset yesterday, when MPs menacingly approached the Well. Many of you raised slogans, but I don't want to name anyone. The Chair has power to adjourn the House as per the situation because it is responsible to run the House in a dignified manner."
